Some Quick Tips to Qualify!
- You must not be working full-time.
- Your disability must have lasted 12 months or be expected to last 12 months.
- You must not be able to do your past work and, in many cases, any other work, including lighter work.
- Your age makes a difference. Claimants who are 49 and younger have the hardest test for disabilty. Getting approved is generally easier at age 50, and even easier at ages 55 and 60.
